This colloquium is comprised of two talks- the first is from Dr Mitchell Kenney from University of Nottingham, whose talk is titled ‘Dielectric Metasurfaces for Next-Generation Optical Toolkits’. Dr Kenney’s research interests are in high-efficiency metasurfaces, including absorbers, holography and lensing.
The other is from Dr Alasdair Clark from University of Glasgow, whose talk is titled ‘Plasmonic Colour for Chemical Sensing and Security Printing’. Dr Clark’s research area is plasmonics; fuller details can be found on his research page.
