The UKMMN welcomes this substantial investment in metamaterials underpinning technology and delivering against national and global environmental challenges. The UKMMN looks forwards to engaging with the recipient of the funding for the ‘3D Nanoscale Metamaterials Hub for a Sustainable Future’.

This funding opportunity has been allocated by the UKRI’s Science, Engineering and Technology Board (SETB) to support the delivery of aspects of the EPSRC Big Idea ‘The UK Metamaterials Revolution: Innovative solutions to global challenges in energy, communication, health and security.’ A copy of the Big Idea is available on the UK Metamaterials Network (UKMMN) website.
