We invite you to apply for the Scientific Demonstrators Competition, a unique opportunity to bring your science to life and inspire others through hands-on, visually compelling demonstrations. The deadline for applications is Friday 24th October 2025.
Successful applicants may typically claim up to £500 in support to develop and present their demonstrator. In addition, first and second place prize winners will be supported to attend the Materials Research Exchange (MRE) 2026 joining the UK Metamaterials Network’s stand at one of the UK’s premier events for materials innovation, collaboration and networking.
The UK Metamaterials Network will publish the winners on https://metamaterials.network/, and via the UK Metamaterials Network’s social media channels, promoting the profile of the winners.
