Metamaterials Modelling showcase – part 1

This UK Metamaterials Network event is targeted at the modelling and AI-design experts to discuss new and established metamaterials modelling methodologies.

The event will start with 4x 5-minutes lightning talks, focussing on the following techniques, followed by an opportunity to discuss these in more detail:

• Finite Difference Time Domain method (Martin Cryan, University of Bristol)
• Multiple scattering (Valerie Pinfield, Loughborough University)
• Ensemble averaging over material randomness (Artur Gower, University of Sheffield)
• Continuum modelling (Anton Souslov, University of Bath)
