This UK Metamaterials Network event is targeted at the modelling and AI-design experts to discuss new and established metamaterials modelling methodologies.

The event will start with 4x 5-minutes lightning talks, focussing on the following techniques, followed by an opportunity to discuss these in more detail:

Finite Difference Time Domain method (Martin Cryan, University of Bristol)
Multiple scattering (Valerie Pinfield, Loughborough University)
Ensemble averaging over material randomness (Artur Gower, University of Sheffield)
Continuum modelling (Anton Souslov, University of Bath)
