Micrometer to millimeter scale – Metamaterials Manufacturing

This 1 hour session will focus on showcasing and discussing metamaterials manufacturing on the micro- to millimeter length scale.
The event is hosted by the UK Metamaterials Network, and chaired by Dr Claire Dancer and Dr Nick Grant (University of Nottingham).
Following a short background talk, 3 speakers will give insights in their expertise in 5 minutes lightning presentations, followed by 35 minutes discussion during which the participants can share their own expertise, challenges, and solutions:
- Christopher Tuck (University of Birmingham)
- Izabela Jurewicz (AMD Nano)
- Andrew Gross (University of South Carolina)
The target audience are scientists in academia and industry, governmental agencies, etc at all career stages.
