Who?
This event is targeted at metamaterial scientists interested in the theoretical aspects of metamaterials that have additional dimensionality, such as time-modulated systems and quasi-crystals.
Why?
Attend to learn more about the work of researchers at the cutting edge of the theory of novel metamaterials. The event will include ample time for discussion and interaction, so will be valuable for building connections and establishing new collaborations.
Information
This workshop will explore the theoretical aspects of one of the new frontiers in metamaterial science: metamaterials with additional dimensionality. The two main focuses of the event will be time-modulated systems and non-periodic/quasicrystalline systems. There will be invited talks from expert speakers on both these areas, as well as structured discussion sessions aimed at exploring new directions and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
